Smoothies For All Occasions

Everyone loves a good smoothie, but sometimes knowing what to put inside of one can be diffucult. Let’s face it, some ingridents don’t go well together and  some parings are packed full of nutrients and flavour. Before you just start throwing everything in your blender, check out some of my go-to smoothies.

The Energizer: 

The honey in this smoothie acts as a time-release muscle fuel, and aids all other skow release complex carbs in this engery booster- just what you’l need at the start of a busy day.


1/2 Mango

1/2 Banana

1/2 Cup Blueberries

2 tbsp Chia Seeds

1 tbsp Honey

2 tbsp Geek Yogurt

Ice Cubes

The Veggie: 

On the light side of your vegetable intake today? Add a little boost with this veggie smoothie. Boasting anti0inflammatory and immuniy perks, it’s the perfect any time of the day snack.


1 Carrot, Grated

Chopped Ginger

1/2 Avocado

1/4 Cucumber

1 Stick Celery

Ice Cubes

1/4 tsp Tumeric

1 Cup Almond Milk

Green Goddess: 

Great pre-workout smoothie. Amazingly healty and even more tasty. Packed full of nutrients and light on the stomach.


2 Slices of Melon

Handful of Mint

2 Cups Spinach (or more if you dare)

1/2 Mango

1/4 Cucumber

2 tsp Matcha Powder

1 Cup Almond Milk

2 tbsp Honey

Protien Power: 

The nuts, seeds and protien power in this smoothie make it a post-workout go-to. It tasted awesome, and gets you the maximum fitness gain and replensihes your body slur, by slurp.


1 Banana

10 Cherries

3 tbsp Plain Yogurt

Chia or Hemp Seeds

4 Walnuts

1 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder

Ice Cubes

Stomach Soother: 

When your stomachs wrecking havock, and our appetite is non-existent, smooth your stomach troubles with this banana ginger smoothie. Belly aches, heartburn, nausea… no matter the problem, ease the plain with this smoothe.


1 Banana

3/4 cup Greek Yogurt

1 tbsp Honey

1 tsp Ginger

Drop of Vanilla Extract

Orange Creamsicle: 

Sometimes you don’t need energy, or a super powered protien blast, your just want a cool and tasty treat. Say hello to orange creamsicle! Cool down on a warm day with this summer must have.


1 Orange

1/2 cup Greek Yogurt

2 tbsp Orange Juice

1/4 tsp Vanilla Extract

Ice Cubes

Feeling a little sluggish, lots of flus and bugs going around? Whip yourself up some antioxidant smoothies! This nurtitional powerhouse is bound to keep you so healthy you’ll gow.


Water from 1 Cup of Brewed Green Tea

2 tsp Honey

1 1/2 cup Blueberries

1/2 Banana

3/4 cup Soy Milk
